We are the Chamber of Tourism for the Bay Islands off the coast of Honduras. Our official Spanish name is Camara Nacional de Turismo de Honduras - Capitulo de Islas de la Bahia.

We are a nonprofit organization concerned with responsible tourism growth and development. We are dedicated to promoting the Bay Islands of Roatan, Utila, and Guanaja as attractive destinations to those seeking outstanding natural beauty above and below the sea ... a rich and varied multi-national culture ... stunning beaches bordering golden sand beaches ... and an atmosphere of welcome relaxation.

Founded in December 2002, we operate separately from the government but act as liaisons with them on both a national and local level. Our members represent all facets of tourism -- from hotel and tour operators, to marketing, to restauranteurs, to developers, to service oriented businesses and individuals.
